Story: Satya (Nag) is a courageous man with a kind heart and though he talks roughly, he is helpful. In this process, he helps GK (Dev Gill) from an attack. GK has a rival Peddanna (Pradeep Rawath) who is a very powerful person in Hyderabad. However, Satya uses his brain, joins GK and starts killing the men of Peddanna. Meanwhile, GK's interest Sirisha (Anushka) falls for Satya and starts wooing him. On the other hand, there is Ashtalakshmi (Priyamani) who takes the help of Satya and she also falls for him. However, Satya has got something in his mind and he has his own share of twists in his plan. What is that plan? Who is Satya? All this forms the rest of the story. Artist Performances: Nagarjuna has come up with a delectable performance and he scores with his handsome looks and classy outfits. Anushka provides ample glamour and is a visual feast to the audience, Priyamani also does something similar and performance wise, both ladies were above average. Brahmanandam got a lengthy role and though he takes off with some really entertaining comedy, eventually the graph comes down, Kota was superb, Pradeep Rawath was loud, Dev Gill was ordinary, Raghu Babu was regular, Dharmavarapu and master Bharat gave few smiles, Charmee looks awesome in her item song, Sreelatha was okay, Supreeth, Sushant, Shravan, Banerjee were standard. Plus Points:         * Nagarjuna's Looks And Body Language     * Anushka, Priyamani Glamour Show     * Brahmi's Comedy To An Extent     * Cinematography     * Fight Sequences Minus Points:     * Second Half     * Comedy Track Not Upto To The Mark     * Too Many Non Situational Songs     * Villains Not Shown Very Strongly     * Lack Of Depth During Emotional Scenes Analysis: The film is a typical commercial entertainer and as expected, it has the required quota of ingredients to be called a formula film. Though focus was seen on the presentation and the technical aspects, the makers should have worked on improving the comedy, increasing the strength of the storyline. At the box office, this will connect with the fans of Nag and may sustain for just few weeks. Verdict: Not up to the expectations. Disappointing!

Story: A stale tale, the story begins with Ambuja (Trisha) known as Nisha to her fans. She is a famous actress and is engaged to the rich boy Madangopal (Madhavan). However, Madan begins to have his own doubts about Ambu's chastity given her profession. This leads to a break up and Ambu goes to Europe along with her friend Deepa (Sangeetha) for a holiday. Madan decides to catch Ambu red-handed so he hires Major Bhushanam (Kamal) to become a spy and gather evidence. Bhushanam follows Ambu to Europe and realizes she is clean. However, few other twists take place which lead to Ambu falling in love with Bhushanam. How that happens and what goes after that forms the rest of the story. Artist Performances: Kamal Haasan delivered a delectable performance and though there was nothing challenging in the role for him, he gave it some life. Trisha looks competent and her screen chemistry with Kamal was neat. She looks cute and matured. Sangeetha has become voluptuous but her face has got that natural sex appeal, she did her bit correctly. Madhavan was moderate and added value to the film with his act. Ramesh Aravind was alright, Urvashi was okay. Das and Manju Pillai were alright. Oviya was brief, Usha Uthup was convincing. Plus Points:     * Locations     * Cinematography     * Technical And Production Values     * FIrst Half Minus Points:     * Stale Comedy     * Pathetic Climax     * Pace Of The Film     * Screenplay     * Weak Emotional Graph Analysis: The film is a dubbed version of the Tamil movie 'Manmadhan Ambu' and though it didn't have much of an issue in that sense, the film was messed up by the director. The take off was promising and it looked to be a sensible love entertainer with a matured thought process, but the director included comedy scenes in such a pathetic way that more than smiles, it brought frowns out of frustration. The real problem lies in the second half which got totally wiped out due to illogical stuff. Overall, this is a film with below average feel and success is very difficult in Telugu box office. Verdict: Disappointing!!

Story: Kathi Kantha Rao (Allari Naresh) is a street smart police constable who is good at using his brain and getting what he wants. But he has his share of big responsibilities in the form of his family which comprises of four sisters, two married and two unmarried. Then, there is also his father (Dharmavarapu) who takes a written agreement from Kantha Rao that unless he does his duties as a son and clears all the issues of his sisters, he is not allowed to fall in love or get married to a girl. But then, Kantha Rao falls in love with Ratnam (Kamna Jetmalani) and they go very far in their relationship. With his sisters on one side and Ratnam on the other, Kantha Rao is in a tight spot but whether his brain help him this time also, watch it for yourself. Artist performances: Allari Naresh has come up with engaging performance and he carries his role with élan. Kamna Jetmalani was seductive as usual, there is a mystic sex appeal which draws the audience towards her. Dharmavarapu was fabulous. Kota was regular, Ahuti Prasad was above average, Raghu Babu was usual, Ali was quick, Krishna Bhagawan gave few witty smiles, Venu Madhav was effective, Kondavalasa was noisy, Chalapathi Rao was matured, the ladies did their bit as required and they provided glamour as well as contributed in their own way. Plus points:        * Allari Naresh Performance     * Comedy     * Kamna's glamour     * Dharmavarapu Imitating Jaggayya     * First Half Minus points:     * Slow Second Half     * Predictable Formula    Analysis: The film is meant for those who look for two plus hours of entertainment filled with comedy and some satire. Given the backdrop of EVV’s films, audience must have already got a taste of his comedy and those who like it will enjoy it. Though the format of the film is quite predictable, it is due to the grip over the script and the performances that worked. Revenue wise, this might be a profit grosser at the Box Office. Verdict: Breezy time pass entertainer, One time watcher!

Nagavalli is Triple Chandramukhi

The fundamental reason why Chandramukhi became super hit is because of Rajinikanth and Jyothika. The excellent performance of Jyothika in pre climax and climax episode made the film to fare exceptionally at box office sending audience into shivers with thrilling moments. Jyothika effortlessly executed the characters of Chandramukhi and Ganga becoming the life line for total movie.

Latest release Nagavalli is divergent from Chandramukhi as we see three heroines virtually performing like the haunted soul. Anushka is the real Nagavalli in movie, Kamalini Mukherji in mentally retarded character is approximately equal to Nagavalli in makeup and Richa Gangapodhyaya is the final lady into which Aatma of Nagavalli enters which is revealed in climax. The burden of Jyothika is shared by three beautiful heroines in Nagavalli and that's why Nagavalli is Triple the Chandramukhi in characters and just one third in success.

Story: A sequel tale, the story begins with the portrait of Chandramukhi (Anushka) which lands at an artist’s place. From there, it gets into the house of a big family (Sarath Babu, Prabha, Richa, Kamalini, Poonam, Shraddha das, Dharmavarapu, Raksha etc). However, unfortunate and mysterious things keep happening and the family meets with Rajeshwar Siddanthi (Avinash). He tells them that it is the effect of Chandramukhi and informs that one of the girls has got possessed by her. He calls upon Dr Vijay (Venkatesh) who is good at resolving such cases. Vijay comes with his assistant (Brahmi) and starts his investigation. What does he discover forms the rest of the story. Artist performances: Venkatesh has given an adequate performance and this time, he was contained. Anushka was neat and made her presence felt. Richa looks cute and performs with élan. Shraddha Das was alright. Kamalini Mukherjee has done very well but she must put on weight and get that voluptuous appeal, she looks very starved. Poonam Kaur was there to fill the screen. Brahmi's comedy was stale. Sarath Babu and Prabha were elegant. Avinash was good. Dharmavarapu was okay. Raksha was regular. M S Narayana was brief. The others did their bit as required. Plus Points:     * Art Department     * Cinematography     * Visual Effects     * Background Score     * Kamalini’s Performance Minus Points:     * Weak Content     * Poor Comedy     * Less Suspense Flavor     * Songs Analysis: The film is the continuation of the super hit movie ‘Chandramukhi’ and though it was not as scary as the original, it had its own shock points. The film suffers mainly due to the weak narrative during the second half. Though it is well made technically, it was important to keep the mystery correctly and give the shock at the right scene. Overall, this is a film which will connect with the family audience and Venky fans. The box office might register an average result but not a hit. Verdict: Just Average!
